2022 JAKES HUNT OF A LIFETIME AT COMSTOCK PREMIER LODGE SARGENT, NEBRASKA- Comstock Premier Lodge www.comstocklodge.com located in beautiful Sargent Nebraska will be hosting the 2022 Jakes Hunt of a Lifetime. Two lucky JAKES members will be drawn from our national JAKES membership and this one is being auctioned here at the 2022 convention.
This hunt includes a gun, the license fees, and complete camo clothing, along with the opportunity to hunt with (Schedule Permitting) the NWTF CEO Becky Humphries.
On this hunt the youth hunter will have the potential of harvesting either a Rio Grande or Merriam?s wild turkey! This is truly the hunt of a lifetime for one lucky young man or woman. The lucky hunter will get to bring along one guest as well to enjoy the hunt with them. This hunt is restricted to the JAKES age of 15 and under at the date of the hunt. IMPORTANT the hunter cannot turn 16 prior to April 12th, 2022! The lodge has thousands of acres of rugged Nebraska terrain covered with Merriam and Rio Grande wild turkeys. Comstock Premier Lodge is located in the beautiful Sand Hills of Nebraska. Few people know that parts of Nebraska have exceptional natural beauty. Most who have visited have formed their impressions by traversing I-80 through the Platte River Valley, with its endless miles of flat prairie and fields. When they visit our Lodge they are struck by the natural beauty and enthralled by the habitat and terrain. Our 8500 Sq-ft lodge is a beautifully designed piece of heaven that provides first-class accommodations, comfort and service. The beds and furniture were picked as the number one criterion. Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. is the NWTF’s 10-year initiative to Conserve or enhance 4 million acres of critical wildlife habitat, Recruit 1.5 million hunters, Open access to 500,000 additional acres for hunting.
Any bid made at a NWTF auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, or online, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the sixth business day after the close of the auction. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If the winner of an auction refuses to pay the winning bid price plus any premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid. If the next highest bidder declines the item or if the second highest bidder is unknown, the Chapter President shall dispose of the item at his/her discretion.
ONLINE BIDDING/PERMIT BUYERS: A 5% buyer’s premium with a $250 cap will be added to the final bid price of all lots (unless prohibited by statute). Proceeds will be dedicated to NWTF Conservation initiatives. If the winner of this item refuses to pay the premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid.
You will also be asked to provide the following information: Full Name, Email address, Address, Phone number, Credit card number, on which an AVS is completed (Address Verification System) All purchases over the amount of $50,000 will require a call back from NWTF Auction Team for verification.
PAYING WITH CREDIT CARDS: PAYING BY CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL 3% ADMINISTRATION FEE If item does not get to reserve then the highest bidder will be offered the option to buy it at reserve price.
FIREARMS: Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws. To meet this compliance, NWTF will ship the firearm, at the expense of the purchaser, from our FFL, Edgefield, SC 29824 to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder of your choice after convention if the buyer is not present at the convention. Sports Lure will be transferring firearms during and immediately after the banquet for those who are present.
NWTF AUCTION ITEM POLICY:
All goods in the live auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The purchaser acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by NWTF, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to obtain a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods sold in the live auctions are sold ‘’AS IS” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of NWTF. NWTF provides no warranties of fitness and expressly disclaims the same. NWTF does not accept any liability or responsibility for any product, design, or use. Any written warranties on the goods delivered to the high bidder are those solely of the manufactures, and/or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer.
All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “goods” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by NWTF. NWTF shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services, or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The purchaser also acknowledges that in the event that services are purchased, NWTF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the United States. NWTF cannot be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. NWTF reserves the right to add items to the auctions as additional donations become available. Only NWTF exhibitors may solicit and/ or market to permit buyers.
AUCTION ITEM SCHEDULE/ The online auction will end at approximately 1800 hours MTN time on Saturday, Feb 20, 2021. The online auction will be posted approximately two weeks prior to that ending date.
PAYMENT/PICK-UP
Buyers who purchase items through the Online Hunting Auctions website will immediately be charged for their items on their registered credit cards. Buyers may contact Bruce Boroski at (970) 593-8201 and make alternate arrangements for payment within 10 days prior to the online auction and within 6 days after the online auction concludes. Once this payment is received, the original credit card payment will be voided.
