DOVE HUNT FOR 2 HUNTERS- ARGENTINA or URUGUAY
Migrate to South America for premier wingshooting at one of MGW’s signature lodges in Argentina or Uruguay. The winner(s) of this trip will be treated to some of the finest dove shooting in the southern hemisphere, while being taken care of by professional field guides and lodge staff. This is a hunt of a lifetime, and one that will not be forgotten! The value of this hunt is $5,600.
What is included in the package:
• Five nights lodging in MGW lodge of choice in Argentina or Uruguay (space available on first come basis)
• 5 days of hunting (a maximum of 9 total hunts)
• Field guides
• Gun cleaning
• Transfers to and from dove fields
• Laundry service
• Meals and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
Not included in this package:
Airfare, Roundtrip Airport transportation ($125/person – Argentina & $300/person – Uruguay), Hunting licenses ($375/hunter - Argentina & $425/hunter - Uruguay), Gun rental ($100/day – Argentina & $110/day - Uruguay) for those not wishing to bring their own gun, Shells (market cost average for 2023 was $19-$26/box), and Gratuity
Hunts must be taken within 2 years of the date of the event and must be scheduled within 60 days of event. Availability of dates/lodges is on a first come first serve basis. DETAILED HUNT DESCRIPTION- 2 HUNTER- 5 NIGHT- ARGENTINA/URUGUAY
• Winners will have the choice of going to Argentina or Uruguay for their hunt.
• This Dove hunt is for two (2) “hunters”
• The actual value of this hunt is $5,600
• Hunters may be added on a space available basis for an additional modest, discounted fee of $950/hunter. If a non-hunter is part of the original 2 there will be a supplementary fee of $1,450 per non-hunter for the week.
A Non-Hunter is defined as someone who meets ONE of the following criteria:
o Does not purchase a hunting license
o Does not rent a gun or bring their personal shotgun
o Does not shoot at least 50 boxes of shells during the course of their stay
o Non-Hunters may pre-pay prior to travel or will be assessed $1,450 at the time of their departure.
• 5 days/5 nights of wingshooting in the best dove hunting region in the world with no limit on doves.
• Other wingshooting opportunities are available
• Sporting arm is shotgun. (20 ga Benelli autoloaders are available for rent)
• Soft drinks and water provided during the hunt - Open bar after the hunt. Based off of insurance requirements, safety considerations, convenience and courtesy to other staff or hunters, MGW reserves the right to restrict the use of alcohol in certain conditions or situations at the discretion of whomever is running the lodge.
• You will enjoy the accommodations at one of several MGW lodges. The lodges are all conveniently located and are easily accessible. The lodges routinely share two beds per room with air conditioning/heat and large bathrooms and showers. At the La Volanta lodging location, the rooms are extremely large and a couple of rooms are set up with a 3rd bed into the room in order to accommodate an additional hunter. We always attempt to make the group leader aware of these circumstances prior to arrival and at the time of booking confirmation. 2 beds per room are used at all other lodging locations.
• When hunting is over for the day:
o Relax in the swimming pool (weather permitting)
o Enjoy traditional dining alternating among anticipated beef selections, typical native cuisine, and fine Malbec wines (many hunters come as much for the desserts as they do the birds).
• Group Transportation to and from the fields during the hunts, field guides, gun cleaning, and laundry services at the lodge are all included in this hunt package.
Not included are the following:
• Airfare
• Ground transportation to and from the airport ($125/person in Argentina & $300/person in Uruguay)- see chart below
• Gun permits if you are bringing a firearm into the country
• Gun rental ($100/hunter/day – Argentina & $110/hunter/day - Uruguay)- see chart below
• Hunting license ($375/hunter in Argentina & $425/hunter in Uruguay - 5-day license required)
• Premium shotgun shells- (market price of shells will be quoted at time of trip. The range for domestic and imported shells is $19- $26/box)- see chart below
Due to geopolitical issues both regional and international, Argentina and Uruguay have had several components of shotgun shell manufacturing and importation that has affected and has disrupted supply causing the current market fluctuations.
• Discretionary staff gratuities (Guide: $50/day/hunter – field guide & $300/person to house at trip’s conclusion)
• If the hunting group has added additional individuals beyond the original number purchased there is a $950 per hunter charge for the entire hunt stay. If a non-hunter is part of the group there will be a supplementary fee of $1,450 per non-hunter for the week. SEE ABOVE description of a “non-hunter.”
• For special request hunts beyond the scheduled dove hunts there will be a prearranged agreement between outfitter and hunter(s).
• Within 2-weeks of obtaining the hunt, the purchaser should contact: Brian or Kristy Espy (reserve@mgwoutfitters.com / 334-569-9624 or 334-569-9724) for initial hunt scheduling and additional information.
• HUNT RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE WITH BRIAN OR KRISTY ESPY WITHIN **SIXTY (60) DAYS** FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE. IN ORDER TO CONFIRM THE BOOKING DATE, MGW MUST BE IN RECEIPT OF THE HUNTING LICENSE FEES FOR EACH HUNTER. IF THE GROUP CANCELS WITHIN 90-DAYS OF DEPARTURE, THE GROUP FORFEITS THEIR PAYMENT. IF THE GROUP CANCELS OUTSIDE OF 90 DAYS FROM DEPARTURE, THE PAYMENT WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL MINUS A $100/HUNTER CANCELLATION FEE. IF THE GROUP RESCHEDULES, THE PAYMENT WILL APPLY TO THE EXTENDED PERIOD.
• The hunt must be taken within 2 years of purchase. If the hunt cannot be taken within 2 years, the purchaser may extend his options by paying a $150/hunter extension fee. If a hunt group cancels their confirmed hunt date within 90-days of departure, there will be a $250/hunter re-booking and extension fee. This hunt is not transferable without written consent of the outfitter's agent, Brian or Kristy Espy.
• Costs listed not included in this package may be subject to minor changes (modifications) due to government requirements, restrictions or economic mandates.

Any bid made at a NWTF auction, whether in person at a live auction, by phone, or online, constitutes an unconditional offer to buy the item in question at the price bid. Unless a higher and subsequent bid is made, your bid creates a binding contract of purchase, obligates you to sign the bid ticket or, in the case of a phone or online bid, authorizes the person who took the bid to sign on your behalf AND requires that the bid amount be paid prior to the close of the auction. In the event that the successful bid was made by phone or online, the bid price must be received before the close of the sixth business day after the close of the auction. Payments can be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. If the winner of an auction refuses to pay the winning bid price plus any premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid. If the next highest bidder declines the item or if the second highest bidder is unknown, the Chapter President shall dispose of the item at his/her discretion.
ONLINE BIDDING/PERMIT BUYERS: A 5% buyer’s premium with a $250 cap will be added to the final bid price of all lots (unless prohibited by statute). Proceeds will be dedicated to NWTF Conservation initiatives. If the winner of this item refuses to pay the premiums required, the item shall be offered to the next highest bidder for the price he/she bid.
You will also be asked to provide the following information: Full Name, Email address, Address, Phone number, Credit card number, on which an AVS is completed (Address Verification System) All purchases over the amount of $50,000 will require a call back from NWTF Auction Team for verification.
PAYING WITH CREDIT CARDS: PAYING BY CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL 3% ADMINISTRATION FEE If item does not get to reserve then the highest bidder will be offered the option to buy it at reserve price.
FIREARMS: Before taking possession of your purchased firearm, the gun must be registered in compliance with all federal, state, and local firearms laws. To meet this compliance, NWTF will ship the firearm, at the expense of the purchaser, from our FFL, Edgefield, SC 29824 to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder of your choice after convention if the buyer is not present at the convention. Sports Lure will be transferring firearms during and immediately after the banquet for those who are present.
NWTF AUCTION ITEM POLICY:
All goods in the live auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The purchaser acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by NWTF, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets, or other weapons to obtain a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods sold in the live auctions are sold ‘’AS IS” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of NWTF. NWTF provides no warranties of fitness and expressly disclaims the same. NWTF does not accept any liability or responsibility for any product, design, or use. Any written warranties on the goods delivered to the high bidder are those solely of the manufactures, and/or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer.
All services, hunts, or otherwise, in the live auctions and fund-raising areas have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “goods” above. No services in the live auction are to be or will be performed by NWTF. NWTF shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services, or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The purchaser also acknowledges that in the event that services are purchased, NWTF cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the United States. NWTF cannot be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. NWTF reserves the right to add items to the auctions as additional donations become available. Only NWTF exhibitors may solicit and/ or market to permit buyers.
AUCTION ITEM SCHEDULE/ The online auction will end at approximately 7pm CST on Sunday July 27th. The online auction will be posted approximately two weeks prior to that ending date.
PAYMENT/PICK-UP
Buyers who purchase items through the Online Hunting Auctions website will immediately be charged for their items on their registered credit cards. Buyers may contact Jason Tarwater at (785) 221-6515 and make alternate arrangements for payment within 10 days prior to the online auction and within 6 days after the online auction concludes. Once this payment is received, the original credit card payment will be voided.
